A question that comes to my mind whenever people disagree about politics is why a two party system? George Washington warned against it, but somehow the governments built on it. Our countries name: The United States of America. It's virtually impossible for people to unite for the betterment of our country when politicians are torn in two when it comes to political issues. In my lifetime, I'd rejoice if our two party system was turned into a three party system. Americans would still not see eye to eye on all political issues, however some of the extreme views of the Democrats and Republicans would be scaled back to reality. Making it easier to compromise and keeping the United States: UNITED.
