Assignment 4 - Matthew Kingkade

When I was younger, I believed money was happiness. I thought that in order to achieve happiness you needed to get a good job and make money. As I have grown older I'm beginning to realize happiness isn't about money or possessions, happiness is enjoying what you're doing with your life. This enjoyment is different for everyone, but it does not require wealth or an abundance of possessions. Having a well paying job doesn't guarantee happiness, however doing a job that you love and enjoy will make you happy. As I approach college and the choosing a major I'm trying to focus more on picking something I enjoy rather than a major that will be well paying. As the great philosopher Confucius once said, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
