Assignment 3 Griffin Coates

In the summer of 8th grade, before entering high school, my family went a two week long excursion out west. After catching a train in Chicago, we traveled from Illinois to Montana in a span of two days and two nights. Once in Montana, my family spent the next two weeks hiking countless amounts of trails in Glacier National Park, some being just one mile and others nearly ten. During this time, I began to realize that there is much more to every day life beyond the screen of your computer. From the vast array wildlife we saw to the gorgeous scenery, I realized that there is so much more you could get from life if you just looked around for a minute. If you spend your life just going through the motions and never taking a moment to realize whats in front of you, you miss a lot more than you realize.
