Assignment 6 Harris Hawkins

What's inside of that watermelon shaped thing connected to your neck that we call a head? Only the blueprint to our lives, our best memories, and our worst nightmares. Taking AP Psychology my sophomore year at Henry Clay taught me the brain contains more than just knowledge. Psychology was a pleasant break from learning about the periodic table of elements and the imperfect tense in Spanish. The content I learned was very easy to relate to my everyday life and that remains the reason I never fell asleep in that class, not the same story in Seminar.
Psychology explains why humans act and behave they do. The class is designed to teach students about themselves, a high school students favorite subject. Ms. Clark connects with her students masterfully and I encourage anyone with an open spot on next year's schedule to take Psychology. The  opened my eyes and  then proceeded to force me to look in the mirror. I discovered my self actualization and was able to take a step back and analyze my actions. Henry Clay offers numerous great teachers and classes, but Psychology has had the greatest effect on me.
