Dear future college roommate,
First of all, please don't be alarmed that I plastered some posters of Beethoven up on the wall. Although classical music is my passion, I won't try to push it onto you, and I'll be sure to use headphones whenever I decide to plug into some good old Debussy. Also, don't mind the multiple cans of green beans I keep pushed into the wall. As most of my friends know, and as you must know now that you're one of them, green beans are my favorite food. If you don't like green beans, don't worry, it'll make it easier for both of us! I'll never have to worry about you stealing my food, and you'll always have a perfect gift to give me for any holiday.
I promise I'm a pretty comparable roommate. If you're messy, that's alright. If you're clean, all the better. I won't judge you whether you're out every night or stay in all the time. I'll respect your boundaries. If you're not looking for a friend, I won't be anything but another person you see during the day. If you're looking for a close companion who you can come to for anything, we'll make it work.
Don't forget that we're both just tired, devoted, and probably broke kids who are trying to make it in the big pond of college with the rest of the fish.
