Assignment 10 Lucy Ferguson

One of the scariest moments of my life was when I was dog sitting for my neighbors up the street. It was the last night I was supposed to be going to their house to let their dogs out and put them in their crates. They keep their dogs upstairs in an open area with a tv and couches with the bedroom door shut because one of the dogs is old and can't go up and down the stairs by itself. It was already dark outside and I walked into the house and upstairs to get the dogs and carry them down stairs and when I got up the stairs the bedroom door was open and the lights were on and the bathroom door was open. The lady i was dog sitting for said her nice liked to come over and walk the dogs during the day so I just Assumed that the nice had done that but still thought it was strange, and I definitely didn't go check in the bathroom. I then took the dogs on a walk and when I got back I sat downstairs with them for a while and fed them. As I was sitting downstairs I heard the water start running upstairs in the bathroom and I had no idea what to do I freaked out and left the dogs and the door unlocked and sprinted home. When I got home and told my dad what happened, he went back up to the house to see if anyone was there and said he didn't find anyone. Even though my parents say it was probably just the pipes or something, I still believe it was a ghost or a robber. All I know for sure is that I'm never dog sitting for those people again.
