Assignment 9 Elle Varner

Honestly,  I think war is inevitable.  But this doesn't mean that I think that war is good, or that there is no way to make war less detrimental to the countries involved.  I do believe that we can take steps to make war less harmful to the people such as putting time limits on wars in order to keep them short, and putting restrictions on the types of weapons each side can use.  Also, I think that there should be more communication before the declaration of war to make sure that war is actually necessary in order to fix the problem.  I think that in the past, war was the first thing that came to mind when conflicts arose.  In todays society, we shouldn't do that because the new technologies we have developed can be extremely harmful to the opposing sides.
