Assignment 13- Katie Demos

Anywhere you go these days, it's people on their phones. On the subway, at work, crossing the street, you'd be hard pressed to find a person these days who isn't on their phone when they need to look busy, or even when they don't and just hate the idea of looking like they have the audacity to just THINK and listen to their own thoughts! And the real problem is with the kids these days. Whether it be phones or computers or those darn radios, technology is ruining the world.
But I have a solution, simple in its proposal and execution. The way to save our youth from the plague of LED screens and automated machine domination is by eradicating all technology! Eliminate that pesky phone and forget about the iComputers and such... and while you're at it, say goodbye to washing machines, as well as electricity, even target clothes. Really anything that's mass produced with technology. But don't complain, because when I was your age, we had to wash our own clothes, carry water buckets from rivers, ride on horses, and play pick up sticks for fun! None of that fancy, candy crush app!
It's a fairly simple suggestion, not too demanding. Just complete obliteration of anything that could plague the brains of our precious, dumb youth. In the end, it will be better for all humankind! Get off your phones and live a little, just like stone age civilizations did.
