Assignment 14 Griffin Coates

Thanksgiving is a great time for my family. I have 2 younger brothers, so there is constant bickering and fighting between the three of us. I have family located all over the U.S, ranging from Oklahoma to Texas to Florida. Seeing this, it makes us difficult to have a whole family dinner, so normally my grandparents come up from Georgia to spend it with us. For some crazy reason, my family runs The Turkey Trot every morning on Thanksgiving. I really don't know why we do this, but it's become a tradition in my family so I guess it's not going to stop. Then we go back to the house and watch the parade and football until its time for dinner. I do enjoy this holiday because it represents a time where all families put their differences aside and enjoy a peaceful dinner together. I always choose ham over turkey, and I load my plate up and then slip into a food coma afterwards. Overall, its a pretty great day filled with food and football.
