Assignment 14 Lucy Ferguson

Thanksgiving isn't my favorite holiday but I do enjoy celebrating it. I don't really understand why we celebrate it, but I don't have a problem getting off from school for three extra days to "be thankful" and eat lots of food. Our thanksgivings aren't usually very exciting, we go to my grandparents house with my cousins and aunts and uncles and eat your usual, delicious, thanksgiving meal. But the exciting part of my thanksgiving is going black Friday shopping every year with my mom, sister, and Elle Varner. I don't really go for the deals and shopping its more just the idea of waking up early for fun to go to the mall and see all the crowds. One of my most memorable thanksgiving was when my 3 cousins and uncle from New York came to lexington because I never get to see them since they are so far away. I had so much fun being able to show them around Lexington and just getting to see them.
