Assignment 13 - Will Graves

As we all know the biggest problem we face as Americans is the issue of our education system. Students all across the United States have been misinformed and quite frankly been lied to. Ever since the invention of the internet, teachers and parents have encouraged the idea that you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the internet. Well I’m here to put end to this crisis. The internet is the greatest thing since sliced bread and we should take advantage of it. The ability of any person to put out any information on any topic makes sites like Wikipedia the most reliable sources of information. Sites like WebMD will eventually make doctors obsolete with their dependable diagnoses, and the videos of a kids in monkey costumes making strange sounds clearly prove that bigfoot is real. Who needs libraries or encyclopedias when you have urban dictionary and yahoo answers at the tip of your fingers? The only logical solution to this pressing issue is to ban the use of textbooks and libraries in schools and instead restrict students to using the internet; schools should also be required to unblock all websites on school computers.
