Assignment 13 - Isabella Matthews

Global Warming is going to solve our problems.

Every year winter comes around and every year it's the same ordeal.

Frostbite. Snow days that decrease the amount of education our children are receiving. Icy roads. Freezing temperatures that cause you to pile on layers you have to take off and awkwardly carry around with you as soon as you enter any heated area. But worst of all, the stupid, pointless, ugly snow.

There is a solution to all this though. Global warming is exactly what we need to solve this winter problem. As the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increases, causing more sunlight to become trapped in the atmosphere, the hotter it will be year round. Which in turn means no more winter.

Now we could just wait until the damage we've already done to the environment to really take affect on the whole global warming situation but if we do that we could be waiting an additional 50 years before we stop having winter. The problem is much more time sensitive than that. To start solving it as soon as possible we need to escalate the global warming situation. That means emitting more greenhouse gases. Allowing cars and factories to pollute our air as much as they want. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And these are desperate times indeed.
