Assignment 10 - Julia Meadors

What is my biggest fear? If you had asked me when I was little, I would have answered probably bees, spiders, or snakes. Though I’m still not a fan of any of these by far, I have gotten a lot more tolerant of them after working at a summer camp. If I show the kids that I am afraid then how can I tell them that they will be ok and that it won’t mess with you if you don’t mess with it. But for the sake of this post you probably don’t actually care about my past. Now, I would probably say my biggest fear is not being liked. This is something that I know I can’t do much about but it still bothers me sometimes. When I was little there were certain people that I looked up to and they probably had no idea that I ever did. A lot of these people worked at the summer camp I attended every year. Now I work at the same camp and I really hope that the girls will look up to me or that I can make the same impact on one of them that the counselors did for me when I was little but I will never actually know if I have succeeded or not.
