Cate Clay- Assignment 24

Although junior year hasn't been quite as stressful as I was expecting, it still feels great to almost be done. With the ACT, after-school activities, a new job, and tougher classes, I'm proud of myself for handling the year fairly well. Everyone else should be proud too! We-re almost done, which is scary and exciting all at the same time.

I think it's far more beneficial to reflect on my lessons learned rather than my failures/successes. I've learned that family and friends are the most important things in life. I've learned happiness matters far more then grades. I've learned that comparing yourself to others is the worst habit to have. I've learned that while academic success is important, it should not be your sole focus. I've learned that worrying doesn't do any good. I've learned that time management is possibly the best skill to have.

This summer I plan to go to camp, go to GSP, read, run, and spend time with family and friends. Hopefully, by the end of the summer I'll be ready for senior year and all that comes with it. I hope throughout the year I enjoy every moment possible so that I don't look back and regret.
