Assignment 23- Will Gregory

Do you ever just feel an overwhelming sense of nationalism. A sense of pride and respect toward the country we get to live in and specifically the state of Kentucky. I do and this playlist was made to go right along with that feeling.

The first song really kicks the playlist off. It is Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue by Toby Keith. This song was written directly after 9/11 and speaks to the sense of hurt and anger we all felt after that event.
Next is Paradise by John Prine. This beautiful song is a folk song written about Mulenburg county Kentucky and brings back many fond memories to me
Next is Made in America also by Toby Keith. This song is about a very patriotic family and reminds me of my late grandfather.
Next is American Saturday Night by one of my favorite artists, Brad paisley. It talks about the melting pot that is America and that is something I'm very proud of our country for.
Last is Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen. This is a Rock classic and surely reminds us all of our patriotic roots
