assignment 23 - lindsey angel

With summer rapidly approaching, Kentucky has finally given up on giving us bipolar weather. Now I don't know about you, but amazing weather always makes me want to listen to country music so here are some of my (new and old)  favorites for those days when you just want to drive with the windows rolled down and enjoy the sun. For those of you that detest country music, I apologize.

1. Drinkin Problem by Midland - I hope no one in our class actually has a drinking problem, but even if you don't I assure that you can still readily enjoy this song.
2. Dirt On My Boots by Jon Pardi - A great song for a Friday, after a long week of school/work. This song is about letting loose and enjoying yourself, despite having a long tiring day (or week).
3. Rain Is a Good Thing by Luke Bryan - Would this really be a country playlist without at least one Luke Bryan song?
4. Hillbilly Shoes by Montgomery Gentry - This one I will say is the most "country" song of this playlist so some may not like it as much, but it has been a favorite of mine for years, and I do actually mean years. My dad introduced this song to me when I was maybe five, and that's probably why it's one of my favorite because it's a little nostalgic and a way to connect with my dad.
5. Life's a Dance by John Michael Montgomery - Another older song, without as much of a "party" feel, but it does have a great message,"Life is a dance, you learn as you go, sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. Don't worry about what you don't know. Life is a dance you learn as you go."
