Assignment 20 - Matthew Kingkade

With everyone filling out their brackets in this time of March Madness, this is how to shoot a basketball...

Step 1: First, you need to get a basketball and a basketball goal. If you don't want to buy your own, there are plenty of gyms around the area to practice in such as the YMCA.

Step 2: After you get the ball and the basketball goal, stand with your feet no more than shoulder width apart, and hold the ball in your dominant hand while using your other hand to steady the ball.

Step 3: Now that you're holding the ball properly, bend your knees and jump forward, pushing the ball towards the basket. After the ball is released, flick your wrist towards the back of the rim.

Step 4: Hopefully the ball goes in, but if not, repeat this process until you get into a comfortable shooting motion.
